Refund policy

This policy explains exactly how our ROI guarantee works: how results are measured, when free re-sends apply, and when you get your money back. It applies to every promotion plan sold on this site.

1. How results are measured

Results are measured by the crowdfunding platform's own referral tracking, not by our internal figures:

• Kickstarter: pledged amounts attributed to BackerExplore custom referrer tags in your campaign's Backer Source report ("referred pledges").
• Indiegogo: contribution amounts attributed to the BackerExplore tracking links used in our sends.

ROI means referred pledges divided by the plan price you paid. Example: if you purchased a $399 plan and our sends drive $1,200 in referred pledges, your ROI is approximately 3:1.

2. The guarantee

Minimum 1:3. Every plan is backed by a minimum 1:3 return: referred pledges of at least three times the plan price.

Free re-sends. If a send falls short of 1:3, we re-send your project to fresh segments 1–2 times at no charge.

Full refund. If your campaign still ends below a 1:1 return after re-sends, we refund the full plan price.

For the Premium plan, the guaranteed minimum in the first step is 1:5 instead of 1:3. The re-send and refund thresholds are unchanged.

3. When ROI is assessed

• Each send is assessed 7 days after it goes out, for the purpose of free re-sends.
• The final ROI for refund purposes is assessed when your campaign ends (the end of its funding period on the platform).

4. How to request a refund

• Email contact@backerexplore.com within 14 days of your campaign ending, with your campaign URL and order details.
• We verify the referred-pledge figures against your platform report. You may be asked to share a screenshot of, or read-only access to, the relevant report section.
• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

5. What the guarantee does not cover

• Campaigns that are cancelled, suspended, or removed by the platform before their funding period ends.
• Campaigns whose page, pricing, or rewards are materially changed after our send in a way that suppresses conversion.
• Orders placed with inaccurate project information, or projects that breach the platform's rules.
• Commission-based promotion via Kickbooster, which has no upfront fee and therefore no refund.
