1. What we collect

• Project submissions: the name, email address, platform, campaign URL, and message you provide through the submission form, together with the page language and a two-letter country code derived from request headers. We do not store your IP address with your submission.
• Direct email: anything you choose to send to our contact address.
• Payments: handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. We never see or store your card details; we receive only confirmation of the purchase.

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

2. How we use it

• To evaluate your project and respond to your submission.
• To deliver the promotion service you purchased, including scheduling and reporting.
• To keep basic business records required by law.

3. Our subscriber newsletter

Our backer newsletter is a separate, opt-in mailing list. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribe requests take effect immediately.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run this site — email delivery and payment processing (Stripe) — and only to the extent required to provide the service.

5. Retention and your rights

Submission data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting engagement, then deleted. You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you by writing to contact@backerexplore.com.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
